Assisted Living: The Modest Foundation would like to acknowledge Dale Sloan this month as a hero in our community for getting homeless people off the streets and into a comfortable and safe home. Dale originally opened his first home to help make a difference in his community by helping the mentally and physically challenged people he would see on the streets of Detroit while transporting residents by way of his transportation business he used to own. Therefore, he purchased a home in Detroit to house men that were less fortunate and had no place to go. Dale knew that it was a need to get the homeless people off the streets and into a safe environment.

Dale’s Place Assisted Living Facilities offer men room and board, 24-hour non-medical care, housekeeping, laundry services, social engagement, wellness programs, and much more.  The potential client must be mobile.  Dale’s Place Assisted Living facilities are located in Detroit.  Dale’s Place assisted living communities are private pay and offer month-to-month rental agreements.
